Royal Quays is located in North Shields on the edge of Newcastle, close to a bustling fishing quay and the seaside towns of Whitley Bay, Tynemouth and South Shields. Apart from the traditional British seaside amusements that these towns offer, North Shields is a gateway to the dramatic Northumbrian coastline with its edging of ancient castles and lighthouses, at Alnwick, Dunstanbrugh, Craster and Bamburgh to name but a few. Also the coast of Lindisfarne Castle and Priory on Holy Island.
